I love to laugh and I wanted to share my love for life and laughter with my children when they were growing up so I told them jokes that fit them at that age in their lives. They would roll on the floor laughing and giggling and I would laugh just watching their joy and glee.
And from that we became so so close.
Now that they are grown and life has become more serious for them, when they call or visit, part of our time talking always seems to flow to laughter and I think it has to do with the time we spent laughing when they were little.
I hope the time you spend now with your children is as rewarding for you as it has been for me.
